As with most things that are of interest to anyone in this presidency, a recent scandal has emerged on twitter. A US congressional candidate has been recently criticised after he described Melania Trump as a “hoebag” on Twitter. Mark Roberts (who unfortunately for him comes 2nd in a google search to a famous streaker)
is running in Oregon’s 2nd district and was responding to a tweet from conservative activist Charlie Kirk about the First Lady.
Mr Roberts – “Did you know the First Lady works by the hour? #thinkdirty #hoebag,”
As fellow Twitter users began criticising his comment, the candidate twisted the knife with another comment , just to make sure he had tarnished his reputation properly ,
responding to one tweet by saying – “You start whipping out $100’s and see how #classy she gets #makeitrain!”
Mr Robert’s account was still active as of Wednesday afternoon.
The 48-year-old – who has previously described himself as a conservative – is running as an independent in November’s midterms. To win, he will have to unseat nine-time long standing Representative Greg Walden – something political experts are intelligently not betting on.
On his campaign website, Mr Roberts says he is “not a fan of the Trump administration” and lists Mr Trump as one of the top five people he would not take a selfie with, something which I’m sure the president is distraught by. More evidence of this incredible slander is in his previous tweets where he talks of Trump saying – “Get that man a haircut and non-fat chocolate cake!”. Surprisingly i don’t think this is going to have the impact Mr Roberts hoped for but you never know, with this presidency nothing is quite as it seems, maybe childish insults is the way to bring down TRUMPS reign.
